Tastefully Simple Food
I discovered Tastefully Simple last fall and instantly fell in love with their food! My sister invited me to a tasting party at her home, and I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first.
After trying the food for myself, there was no turning back! It was flavorful, versatile and really easy to prepare. Each item they have includes about 10 different ways you can use it, so even if you’re not feeling particularly creative at the moment, a good idea is right at hand. And it never requires more than two other ingredients, so it’s easy to whip up something incredible for dinner or dessert.
I was so excited about Tastefully Simple’s foods, I decided to share them with my friends and family by becoming a consultant! It’s a great company to work with, and in addition to all the fun I’ve had, I’ve been able to keep my cupboard well stocked and earn a little extra money on the side (a big help with our adoption expenses).
My top 3 favorites are:
Beer Bread: I’ve never had anything like this – it is SO yummy! You just stir in a can of beer or any other carbonated beverage (make it sweet by adding Sprite!), pour a few tablespoons of melted butter on top, bake and prepare to enjoy. It’s great as a side with any meal, can be cubed and used with your favorite dip, or add diced pepperoni, parmesan and Garlic Garlic for an instant appetizer all on its own!-
Garlic Garlic: This spice is so good they had to name it twice! I love garlic but didn’t think I could switch away from my garlic press, but now I’ll never go back — Garlic Garlic makes it too easy! 1 teaspoon equals 1 clove of garlic. You can sprinkle it on anything, or add 2 tablespoons to ½ cup mayo and ½ sour cream for a spectacular dip! -
Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto: This is another really cool spice. It comes in a shaker and you can sprinkle it on your hot pasta or stir a few tablespoons in with some olive oil and water, heat in the microwave for a minute and presto, you have fresh tasting pesto! I also love to stir it into Cream of Chicken Soup and pour it over chicken in the crock-pot for a quick and delicious dinner.
