Kim’s Bensen has successfully lost 212 and kept it off! Her website is a great resource for anyone trying to lose weight or just learn healthy eating habits. She shares low-calorie recipes (I’m anxious to try her Pumpkin Muffins!), meal plans, restaurant nutrition facts, and other great tips and tricks. You can also check out her delicious light bagels and have them delivered fresh to your door!

Last week a friend of ours forwarded us a link to kids.woot. I had never heard of it before but was amazed at the deals they offer and the shipping is always a flat $5! I guess the catch is that you have to check it frequently because they only offer one item per day.
We were able to purchase Spencer’s christmas gift, a Thomas the Train Railway Set with Engine Reconition Technology for only $49 – it sells for $150 at Toys R Us!
The product narratives are quite hilarious and entertaining! Here is what they send when you sign up for an account. I got a kick out if it!
Welcome to the warm embrace of Woot, the first, best, and most hygienic daily deal site! Sit still a minute because you need to know this stuff:
- You’re now a registered member of all four of our sites: woot.com, shirt.woot.com, wine.woot.com and sellout.woot.com. Don’t be alarmed. We’ll explain more later.
- Typical orders take up to 5 business days to ship from our warehouse (except for overnight t-shirt orders, which go out sooner, and wine orders, which take longer). If you order an item during peak times like a Woot-Off, it can take a little longer. Once we ship it, delivery time to your door depends on FedEx or SmartPost.
- Once the item ships out, you can access your tracking data by going to Your Account and clicking on the order number. If you have a problem receiving your order, or you receive the wrong item, contact service@woot.com.
- If you receive your item and it doesn’t work, contact the manufacturer first. They made the junk. Let them deal with it. If they turn out to be total tools, contact service@woot.com and we’ll grudgingly provide some further assistance.
- If you receive your item and decide you don’t like it, take it to eBay or pawn it off on one of your so-called friends. We don’t want it, either.

Just discovered this very cool microwavable mac&cheese at Trader Joe’s. It has five single serving packets, is made with organic pasta, doesn’t have the yucky orange dye, is only $2.79, and most importantly Spencer LOVES it!!

I always have my eye out for something new to rotate in to our diet – so when I ran across these sandwich thins I was really excited to give them a try! They are round like a hamburger bun but thinner and a whole lot lighter on the calories. At only 100 calories, 5 fiber and 1 fat they only equal 1 Weight Watcher point and my husband loves them! So far we’ve used them for sandwiches, turkey burgers and pulled pork. These will definitely be a repeat!

For someone with a sweet tooth I was excited to find these yummy little summer treats! They are only 14 calories each (or zero Weight Watcher points!), and come in three flavors: Orange, Cherry and Raspberry Vanilla Swirl. They taste like flavored icee and vanilla ice cream swirled together!
I found them at Sam’s Club (not sure where else they are sold?) and you get a box of 30 for $6.88.
