The Miracle of Adoption

In November of 2007, my husband and I had the privilege of bringing our son, Spencer Daniel Sang-Jin Klein, home from South Korea.
Adoption is truly a miracle that you cannot explain or fully understand until it has touched your life. Some people worry that they won’t be able to love an adopted child as much as a biological child, but I have to tell you — since the moment I laid eyes on Spencer, that was never even a possibility. I knew he was my son.
Spencer is one of the most amazing blessings of my life. He is a special little boy and I am so thankful to have the honor of being his mother. And now we’re waiting to bring home our little girl from Ethiopia. We can hardly wait to meet her!
If you’d like to get involved in adoption, one of our favorite adoption organizations is Show Hope, the adoption foundation created by Steven Curtis Chapman, and his wife, Mary Beth. They played an incredibly instrumental role in helping us bring Spencer home, and I hope you’ll consider supporting them in their effort to show hope to the millions of orphans across the world.
