Well, we were having major issues with the “yellow” theme not formatting text correctly. So it’s gone, gone, gone…and in with the other one that Cacey picked out as a possibility. This will work!
The videos are all here and up to date! I went ahead and dated the posts by the date of the video so it all will make historical sense. So the fastest way to see all the videos is to go to the video category.
I've got a bunch of Spencer videos on my BlackBerry. I've given up on the idea of editing them all together, and we're just going to start posting them raw. Hope you enjoy this one from yesterday!
Last Saturday Aaron and I attended an adoption parenting class that is required by our agency. Although it was a bit of a drive (hour and half to Lodi, CA) it was well worth it! Not so much because of the content of the class (it was on adopting an older child) but for the opportunity to connect with other adoptive parents who understand adoption "lingo." There were about 6 other couples there, one of which lives in Loomis (20 minutes from us) and is also adopting from Ethiopia!
Afterward we took full advantage of already having babysitting and stopped for dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant in Sacramento called Queen Sheba (You can check it out at http://www.queenshebas.com/). It was a very fun and yummy way to connect with our daughters culture.
They served the food family style on a large platter. Here you see Awazie Beef Tibbs, Chicken Tibbs, Kik Wot, Gomen and Salad…
You use Enjera (a thin pancake like sourdough bread) to dip and scoop up the food…
Tastefully Simple
As you'll read, I love Tastefully Simple's food. I became a consultant so I can stock my own pantry and share it with others! When I mention a TS ingredient I used in one of my recipies, I'll link to my site in case you want to buy it...but feel free to use the recipes with your own ingredients, however you wish!
