This is what happens at dinner when you play in your crib instead of taking your nap.
He decided he wanted to wear this bib around the house along with his cowboy boots.
Celebrating Cousin Colin's 1st Birthday…
And finally my favorite… a picture portraying Spencer's pure OBSESSION with trains! Here he is wearing his new Thomas the Train PJ's, while looking at a Thomas the Train catalog, surrounded by his Thomas the Train set!
The promised videos will start trickling out soon. Here’s the first one…this needed some editing as it was in two parts on my BlackBerry.
This is back on January 19. Spencer didn’t get a nap that day, and we were having our social worker visit for Emma’s home study. So needless to say, he didn’t last long at dinner that night!
Our theme this year was trains, trains and more trains. Ever since last November when we took a trip to Oregon aboard Amtrak, Spencer had been crazy for "choo-choos" (as he calls them)! We purchased him the beginner Thomas the Train wooden set and our families all jumped on board (pardon the pun) and purchased some of the matching pieces. He was thrilled and now falls asleep every night with at least one choo-choo in his hand.
The blog has been remodeled a bit, so we can fit wider pictures into it. And while I was at it, we decided to rename it as well.
We announced to our families at my birthday party last year about our intent to adopt a little sister for Spencer. We expect Emma Nichole Klein to arrive home from Ethiopia as soon as Fall 2009.
Our home study and other legal documents are proceeding as we speak…and we'll keep you posted here!
Tastefully Simple
As you'll read, I love Tastefully Simple's food. I became a consultant so I can stock my own pantry and share it with others! When I mention a TS ingredient I used in one of my recipies, I'll link to my site in case you want to buy it...but feel free to use the recipes with your own ingredients, however you wish!
