Sacramento Rivercats

Rivercatsaug08_013_2

Last weekend we enjoyed going to a Sacramento Rivercats game with our friends Carrie and Kevin Bell, their adorable 10 month old daughter Jordan and Auntie Dora. We purchased tickets out on Home Run Hill where we were able to put down blankets and let the little ones roam around. It’s always a blessing when we’re able to find an outing where we can be together as a family and yet everyone can enjoy themselves. Spencer loved the whole experience – he thought it was quite fun to roll down the grassy hillside, slobber all over Aunt Dora’s ice cream and share (more like steal – we’re still working on the concept of sharing) toys back and forth with Jordan.

Saturday Morning Waffles

Waffles_002

Spencer is almost 17 months and constantly picking up on new things. He is currently refining the skill of using a fork and spoon all on his own. I was surprised at how quickly he caught on and he now refuses to eat unless he has a utensil. We still haven’t determined if he is left or right handed – he likes to pass the fork back and forth and is equally skilled with both hands. Here he is making a sticky mess eating his Saturday morning waffles…

Uh-oh, all gone. :(

When the cat’s away…

This weekend, Mom went to a scrapbooking retreat with all of her sisters and Spencer’s Nana. So it was Dad and Spencer home alone.

We watched some TV…
