Today, Spencer figured out how to say his name and point at himself simultaneously. We’ve been doing this with him using his picture on the wall, and the mirror, for a while now, and he’s definitely picked it up!
Despite the cold and extreme winds Spencer throughly enjoyed his first trip to the beach! Thanks to a great birthday gift from his cousin JuJu – several sand buckets, shovels to dig with and a very cool sand truck – he had a blast digging away and figuring out how to bring it home in just about every crevice! Mom and dad attempted to enjoy their picnic lunch but mostly just huddled under lots of layers trying to stay warm.
The drive there was gorgeous! We took a lesser know route that our friends told us we had to try – It was well worth the narrow, curvy road as you can see by the view we received coming down the mountain…
I am always overwhelmed by the majesty and splendor of the ocean. It is so peaceful yet so powerful. I’m thankful we had the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful piece of God’s creation!
Remember the Romanian pop song that spawned the Internet video that went around?
Spencer’s is FAR better…
(Enjoy in Memphis, pops!)

Tastefully Simple
As you'll read, I love Tastefully Simple's food. I became a consultant so I can stock my own pantry and share it with others! When I mention a TS ingredient I used in one of my recipies, I'll link to my site in case you want to buy it...but feel free to use the recipes with your own ingredients, however you wish!
