Tonight Spencer took eight steps in a row – walking all the way from one end of the living-room to the other! For the past month he has hesitantly taken one or two steps if we prompted and coaxed him but tonight it was like a light bulb clicked on and he realized he could do it. Now all evening he has been venturing out more and more, taking steps on his own initiative. It’s so cute to watch such a little person, with such little legs figure out how to walk!

Two weekends ago we had the pleasure of a visit from our friends the Brownell’s (Jonathan, Carrie and Joshua, their 15 month old son) who braved the stresses of traveling and their first time on a plane with a wiggly little person. We know it wasn’t easy but we’re so grateful that they made the effort! It was a relaxing and fun time spent fellow-shipping, watching the boys play together and talking about the miracle of adoption. The Brownell’s are just starting their own adoption journey and they plan to adopt through Holt International from South Korea just like us!
