Last weekend we surprised my mom with an Italian Murder Mystery themed party in honor of her 50th birthday. As you can see from the pictures, guests were required to dress up in flapper, mafia style costumes from the 1920s. Spencer wasn’t quite sure what to think of all the crazy costumes and when he saw me for the first time with a headband and feather on my head he started crying – the poor little man didn’t know what had happened to his mother! After a few minutes of talking to him he finally reconized my voice and warmed up to me.
